Iodine has been in use as a disinfectant and biocide for hundreds of years, and there is substantial scientific data available on the use of iodine in a vast array of industries, such as dairy processing, sewage treatment, industrial water treatment, the health industry etc.

On top of this already accessible data on iodine, Ioteq has invested substantially on further testingof iodine and the Isan System, in lab and field trials. Ioteq is committed to continue this research both in laboratory and commercial trials.
